Jim Durbin
With more than 20 years of experience in accounting and business consulting, Jim Durbin Jr., CPA, is dedicated to helping organizations and business owners achieve understanding and success with their finances. He specializes in helping nonprofits, small businesses, construction companies, and retail businesses, providing guidance tailored to each client's unique needs.
Before this, Jim spent a decade working in retail and hospitality, where he held leadership as manager and director. This background is what gives him a unique perspective beyond the numbers, allowing understanding of the challenges business owners and leaders face. Jim is passionate about building lasting relationships with his clients and becoming a trusted advisor who helps navigate growth, compliance, and business strategy.
Outside the office, Jim is deeply committed to his community. He is an active member in the Catholic Church, and serves as a member of the Catholic Foundation. He's also a member of the Board of Directors for the Beignet Fest Foundation and the Fore!Kids Foundation, supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference throughout the New Orleans area. When he's not volunteering or working with clients, Jim can occasionally be found on stage, performing with 30 by Ninety Theatre in Mandeville, or traveling the world with his wife, Pam.
